Dinner on the Marsh
From a converted pickup truck made into a wood burning pizza oven to an artist painting the scene set in front of him, this rehearsal had it all! Having a rehearsal dinner for your closest friends and family can start the weekend of events off right. And for this family, they did just that!
At their rehearsal dinner, held at their home on the marsh in low country South Carolina, they brought in a blue grass band, custom “welcome” favors for their guests, a Citadel inspired cake, and rustic inspired rentals. With the night running into the wee hours, this party was one for the books!
Not only did they just have a wonderful rehearsal dinner, but they had events for the whole weekend. The next day, they held a scavenger hunt throughout downtown Charleston for their immediate family. They divided their loved ones into teams of four, where each group was given a custom bag filled with tools to complete the tasks assigned on their clue list. Tracing paper, pens and paper, ziplocs, and a selfie stick (hello! how fun!) were all provided. The last clue led them to their final destination where a cocktail reception was held for the awards ceremony. Needless to say, this wedding was an adventure through and through!
