I don’t know about you all, but I am DIGGING Pantone’s color of the year. Green is one of my favorite colors (after pink, of course) and I think it is crucial for any wedding day look. Today, I wanted to put together some great ways to incorporate greenery into your upcoming wedding or event. Do you have some other creative ideas?! I would love to hear about them!

Sharing my 2016 weddings reviewed today on my blog. It has been a year full of love, craziness, and Mother Nature playing tricks on me. So many fabulous couples got to say “I Do”, numerous photo shoots were created, and I got to cross off another year in the Holy City doing what I love. Today, I wanted to share a couple of images from the many weddings I planned with Sage Innovations and the various photo shoots I was able to design and coordinated. Can’t wait for you all to see my 2016 weddings reviewed!

Happy Planning!

Of course, the traditional Christmas decor of green and red with a pop of white can never go wrong, but have you ever thought about going a new direction?! I am dying to have an all pink Christmas one year. Which trend are you wanting to try? Check out some other ideas I would like to do below. I found all of these off of Pinterest and am totally obsessed!

Talking about this purple wedding inspiration up on The Petal Report today! This past fall, I had the pleasure of working with Nathalie and Daniel on their Charleston wedding with Sage Innovations. This sweet couple decided to wed in the Holy City from the Big Apple as Nathalie used to live her. They absolutely fall in love with it’s marshes and Spanish moss. Nathalie was born in Holland and growing up on her family’s flower farm, had a true adoration for pretty blooms. Having the florals be one of the most important aspects to her, I brought her to Branch Design Studios. They were able to create a one of a kind purple infused floral board. I would say it turned out pretty amazing, wouldn’t you?! It was pretty much the epitome of purple wedding inspiration.

As Nathalie and Daniel were combining their two families, it was very important to them to include their three children in the ceremony and reception. With a group hug during their vows and a family “Chicken Dance” at the reception, they were able to incorporate their biggest fans in their wedding day. If you are someone looking for a lush floral design or a lover of all things purple, I have a feeling this wedding will be right up your alley! Hyer Images‘ beautiful pictures can be found below.
